Haven't visited Disneyland in a while? You'll want to make room in your schedule. Disney's California Adventure, Disneyland, and Downtown Disney have all undergone improvements with many exciting attractions.
The newest, of course, is Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge in Disneyland. Not to be outdone, however, California Adventure boasts
the Guardians of the Galaxy attraction Mission: BREAKOUT! Family favorites are the iconic Carsland where you can interact with Lightning McQueen and Mater as they roll through Radiator Springs and the recent makeover--Pixar Pier--just in time to celebrate the latest Toy Story installation. Downtown Disney is a shopper's dream with its massive World of Disney store, multi-level Lego Store, and many more. If you're into anything Disney, now is the time!
The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim are in town throughout the EMDRIA conference! If you're a baseball fan, take in a major league game. Saturday night's game against the Tampa Bay Rays includes fireworks at the conclusion of the game.
City National Grove of Anaheim
If you enjoy music, you'll know that a smaller venue is always better. Friday, Septembers 13, 2019, the Grove in Anaheim will host the classic rock duo Air Supply! Get tickets by visiting their website here.
If you're in need of retail therapy or a snow cone on a hot day during the conference, head over to the Anaheim GardenWalk. Have a 24 Hour Fitness membership? It's here too! Plan to meet friends and colleagues at one of many restaurants as well--Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., California Pizza Kitchen, The Cheesecake Factory and more. The House of Blues Anaheim has moved to the Anaheim GardenWalk and promises both fantastic musical entertainment along with a consistently good menu. HoB's World Famous Gospel Brunch Sundays at 10:30am is an instant choice for what to do Sunday morning.
If you're in the mood for something a bit more eclectic, visit the downtown area of Anaheim where urban renewal has ignited the history of the region. The Anaheim Packing District is a food and shopping destination in the old Packing House where oranges and other produce were once packed and processed. Take some friends and enjoy the food and beverage offerings!
